THE ORIGIN

Because winning is not enough.

Back in the 90s, Carles Romagosa and David Hernández were coaching at some of the best football academies in the world: FC Barcelona and CIDARF, a high-performance center near Barcelona. They won most of their games coaching extremely talented players — some of whom became World Champions and UEFA Champions League winners.

But both shared a growing conviction: winning is not enough. They began deeply analyzing the world's best players, coaches and clubs — and researching how to teach and train in the most effective ways possible.

The EKKONO METHOD was born, focused on player development: identifying the most important concepts for every age from U6 to pro, and building a teaching approach adapted to each age. This is why Ekkono is known today for its focus on perception and scanning skills.

10+ YEARS INSIDE THE METHOD

The US expansion is led by Stefan Triandafilou — entrepreneur, coach, and a partner and friend of the Ekkono founders for over 10 years.

Stefan has trained with David Hernández and Carles Romagosa at Paris Saint-Germain’s Camp des Loges, studied the method at the source, and now brings it home to American players and coaches.
