The Ekkono Engine (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Ekkono Futbol USA LLC, located at 4968 Wyaconda Road, North Bethesda, MD 20852. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, purchase products or services, or otherwise interact with us.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Contact and account information: name, email address, phone number, billing address, and any other details you provide when creating an account, filling out a form, or contacting us.
• Payment information: when you make a purchase, your payment is processed by Shopify and Shop Pay. We do not store full credit or debit card numbers on our servers.
• Player service information: for Individual Player Progress Program (IPPP), clinics, camps, and related services, we may collect a player’s age group, match footage links (e.g., Veo, Trace, Hudl, YouTube), and other information needed to deliver coaching analysis. This information is provided by the parent or legal guardian.
• Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs contained in standard server logs generated when you visit our site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve our courses, memberships, and coaching services;
• Process orders, manage accounts, and communicate with you about your purchases;
• Deliver player analysis, training recommendations, and program materials;
• Send marketing emails, newsletters, and promotional offers when you have provided consent (managed through Klaviyo; you may unsubscribe at any time);
• Maintain and improve the security and reliability of our website;
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

3. Children’s Privacy

Our services are designed for adults, parents, guardians, coaches, and clubs. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. When a player under 13 participates in our programs, all required information is provided by a parent or legal guardian. We collect and use that information only with the guardian’s consent and consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

If you believe we have inadvertently received personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

4. Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Shopify and Shop Pay. Shopify handles payment card data using industry-standard encryption and security practices. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or authentication details on our own systems.

5. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses only essential cookies and local browser storage needed to make the site work — for example, remembering the contents of your shopping cart. We do not currently run analytics software, advertising pixels, or retargeting trackers on this site. You can manage cookies through your browser settings at any time.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate our business, including:

• Shopify — e-commerce platform, payment processing, and order fulfillment;
• Klaviyo — email marketing and customer communication platform;
• Lovable Cloud (Supabase) — hosting for our website and the database that stores contact, club, camp and film submissions, including player names, birth years and links to match film;
• Ekkono Soccer Services Barcelona — our methodology partner, for program delivery, coach certification support, and player analysis services.

Each provider is contractually required to use your information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf and to protect it appropriately.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it in a secure manner.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. To exercise these rights, or to request a copy of the data we hold about you, please email us at hello@ekkonoengine.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
